Both ask for the same treatment. Give it to both and you make one of them worse.
The barrier is compromised
Her skin stings with almost every product and flared after a course of exfoliating facials. She wants a strong brightening facial and active serums to fade the redness fast.
She can have: barrier repair only. Gentle cleanser, moisturiser, daily SPF. No actives, no exfoliation, no heat. Corrective work deferred until the skin stabilises.
The barrier is sound
Her skin is comfortable with no product intolerance, but flushes within two minutes of heat, with broken blood vessels across both cheeks. She wants the same facial, and the vessels gone.
She can have: gentle, heat-free care and a tolerance test. Vascular treatment such as IPL, within scope and after assessment, is what will actually clear the vessels. Skincare alone will not remove them.
